Margarida M. Massa, 75

Margarida M. Massa, of Mary Ave., East Providence, died at home on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was 75.

She was the wife of Jose J. Massa. Born July 29, 1937, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Alexander Rocha and Maria Luisa Raposa.

Besides her husband of 50 years, she leaves her children: Paula Francis and her husband, Dodd; Emanuel Massa, and Rui Massa and his wife, Lisa, all of East Providence; four grandchildren, Mitchell, Evan, Haley and Jaydon; and her sister and brother-in-law, Maria and Casimiro Oliveira of Pawtucket.

Calling hours are today, Dec. 28, from 5 to 8 pm.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 9 am from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter St., East Providence.

Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
