Man Charged With Receiving Stolen Goods
An East Providence man is charged with driving a vehicle with stolen license plates.

A suspicious looking Ford Escort caught the eye of two very observant East Providence police officers last Friday, Nov. 9. The driver now faces a charge of receiving stolen goods.
Bradford M. McIlvaine, of 29 Warren Ave., East Providence, was driving into the parking lot of the Watchemoket Bar about 1:25 pm. His vehicle carried only a license plate on the rear bumper.
Officers on routine patrol watched McIlvaine leave the vehicle and walk into the bar. They pulled over and decided to wait until he came back outside to question him about his vehicle and a license plate registered to another name.
