Meeting Street Launches Free Workshop Wonders Series for Parents & Caregivers

Free Workshop Wonders Series November 4th

What:

Meeting Street will kick-off its Workshop Wonders series for parents and caregivers on November 4th with “Autism in the Early Years.” This workshop, led by Meeting Street Director of Early Intervention Casey Ferrara and Early Intervention Clinical Supervisor Jennifer DeMello, will help families and caregivers understand autism and social communications delays with children up to five years old. Guidance will also be provided on effective strategies for working with medical professionals and specialists, ways to provide a supportive and nurturing home structure for children with autism, and available resources.

Workshop Wonders programs are free and open to the public. A light dinner will be provided and free child care is also available with advance registration.

Upcoming Workshop Wonders programs include: Effective Discipline for Children 2-12 (January 27); What to Expect in the Infant and Toddler Years (February 24); Keeping Children Safe: Being Prepared vs. Paranoid (March 23); and Using the Power of Less to Raise Calmer, Happier, Secure Kids (April 6).
