Myron J. Francis Rocks Out for New Technology
Students are raising money to put smartboards in each classroom.
Students at unleashed their inner rock stars Friday during a walk-a-thon to raise funds to bring more technology into the school.
They played with blow-up guitars and a Justin Bieber cutout in an effort to raise money to get smartboards in each classroom. The event was moved indoor because of the weather.
One "superstar" child who raises the most will win a Kindle and a limousine ride to Sundae's ice cream shop in Seekonk. The top ten other students who raise the most will join the superstar in the limo ride to Sundae's.
