The Obstetrics team at East Bay Family Health Care, a division of East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP), had a record number of deliveries during the period of July 1 to August 1. There were 11 mothers-to-be in their care during this time period, and ten of the mothers delivered their babies with the East Bay Family Health Care staff at Landmark Medical Center.
Dr. Ashley Lakin, a physician who has worked at East Bay Family Health Care since 2014, expressed gratitude to her colleagues, noting that the entire team of providers, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, front desk staff and administrative personnel at East Bay Family Health Care “go above and beyond to help us provide the best possible care to the east bay’s growing families.” She noted that she is looking forward to welcoming more babies in August.
EBCAP’s East Bay Family Health Care staff members help every patient get the care he/she needs, at the right time, and in the right place. In addition to primary health care and obstetric care, patients also have access to dental care, behavioral healthcare, and social support services. Care teams coordinate services through an integrated care model.
