EPOCH Assisted Living on the East Side will welcome park ranger John McNiff for the presentation “I am Roger Williams” on Tuesday, June 17 at 2 p.m. Roger Williams founded Providence in 1636 after being banished from Massachusetts for his religious beliefs. McNiff will offer an in-depth look at Williams’ life and the colony that became a refuge for free worship without interference from the state.
