Police Catch Honey Dew Donuts Robber
Richard Nunez was charged with being a fugitive of justice, simple assault and battery, and second-degree robbery.

Police caught an East Providence man who pocketed $150 after robbing Sunday night.
According to East Providence Police reports, dispatch received a call at 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20, reporting that a man wearing all black and a ski mask threatened to shoot a clerk working at the eatery.
Patrolman Steven Evans was driving in the area when he saw a man, later identified as Richard Nunez, 38, of 27 Sunset Ave. in East Providence, running through Bullocks Point Village. The officer left his cruiser and chased him eastbound to a set of dumpsters on Providence Avenue. After hearing a clang, the man soon came out from between the dumpsters. The officers told him to show his hands and get on the ground. He was then put into the cruiser.

Officers later found black work boots and black attire in the dumpster. They also found $150 jammed into a cage in the cruiser after he was transported.
Nunez was charged with being a fugitive of justice, simple assault and battery, and second-degree robbery.
