Police Charge Man With East Bay Food Mart Robbery

East Providence Police detectives charged Andrew R. Yaghjian, 23, of 102 Summit St., with two counts of first degree robbery.

East Providence Police detectives charged Andrew R. Yaghjian, 23, of 102 Summit St. in East Providence with two counts of first degree robbery.

The police obtained an warrant for Yaghgian after receiving a tip on the video surveillance that was aired on television back in January, according to Capt. Richard Frazier.

He turned himself on Wednesday and was arraigned in Sixth Division District Court. He is being held without bail at the Rhode Island Adult Correctional Insititute (ACI).
