Police Log: Locals Charged With Drug Possession, Transport

• David Amaral, 46, was charged with two counts of simple assault after officers responded to a 911 report alleging violence against a disabled person at about 5:22 p.m. on May 2.
• Luciano Morales, 31, of Lincoln Ave., was charged with domestic vandalism, malicious injury to property and failing to relinquish the phone after officers responded to a 911 call at about 10:31 a.m. on May 2.
• Ronald Brophy, 25, of 17 Skycrest Ave., was arrested under a bench warrant and suppressed disturbance after he allegedly tried to break down a door at about 10:16 p.m. on May 5.
