Police Seeking Stabbing Victims' Attacker

Two brothers walking along Crescent View Avenue near Willett Avenue in Riverside early Saturday morning, Nov. 24, were stabbed by an unknown assailant, according to East Providence police.

The names of the brothers were not released, according to the Providence Journal. But the young men are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. They suffered serious but non-life threatening stab wounds.

An investigation into the assault continued Sunday, according to East Providence Det. Lt. Michael David. Each brother is believed to have been stabbed several times shortly before 1 am after they attended a party at a home near that intesection.

The young men were transported by East Providence EMTs to Rhode Island Hospital. Reportedly, police were pursing a variety of leads on the assault, according to the newspaper.
