Join the Providence Art Club for Our 16x16 Members' Exhibition Opening Reception
The show will feature the work of more than 60 exhibiting artist members of the historic Providence Art Club. All the works on view were created specifically for the show using 16" x 16" Masonite panels.
The exhibition will provide a view of the many styles and media that the members of the Club use in their work. Pieces will be presented in a mosaic-like display in the Maxwell Mays and Moitie Galleries, and will be available for cash-and-carry sale.
In the Club's Dodge House Gallery, antique European travel posters from the permanent collection will be on view.
The reception will be held Sunday, August 17 from 2-4pm. Many of the artists featured in the show will be available to discuss their work. Both shows will run August 12-September 5. Gallery Hours for August are weekdays 12-3pm. The galleries are closed on weekends.
The Galleries of the Providence Art Club are always FREE and open to the public.
