Teen Suspended from Pierce Field

A security guard told police the youth has been a "constant problem."

A 16-year-old boy was suspended from for a week after his antics landed him in hot water with a security guard.

According to reports from the East Providence Police Department, the teen threw a baseball that flew over a security guard's head and landed on the green on Monday, June 18, at approximately 5:10 p.m. After the guard approached the youth to say the ball could have injured someone, he reportedly got "lippy." 

The teen has reportedly been a "constant problem" for the guard as he allegedly has "messed around with females in the dugout."

The teen was suspended from the field for a week. If he trespasses during the suspension he will be permanently banned from the field, reads the report.
