My 9 year old son is finishing his third grade there and today received an award in Math. I am, Oh course, a very proud parent and I have much to be proud and thankful for.

This year I was on hand volunteering time and skills to help the school in any way I could and was thankful that I was able to. At the hands of and through the efforts of the new principal, Mrs. Donna Peluso, the School was awarded a S. T. E. M. grant for the 4th and 5th graders and I was on hand to document that ongoing process for the weeks that it was underway. I was also able to help with the school yearbook and assist on distributing related PR so that the community at large could be aware of the good things going on there.

The folks at Oldham, ... administration, faculty and staff have all been very nice to work along side with and in almost every case I have been very well received and appreciated, met with happy faces and kind words from people committed to education. I want to thank all those folks there from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to contribute to the success of these activities.

I am hopeful that in some small way my efforts as a caring parent have made a difference and look forward to future endeavors that I may assist with. Thank you Mrs. Donna Peluso for giving it your all... and at the front desk, Thank you Mrs. Maryanne Costa for always being so helpful and pleasant to me... and to the many others that I am reluctant to mention each by name, ... the resourceful resource people, the very talented art teacher and music teacher.... those on the front lines in each and every classroom... the school psychologist, sociologist and the school nurses who keep the little folks running smoothly... P.E. instructors and of course the jolly and engaging janitor and other support staff ... and it goes without saying... a big thanks to all the wonderful young students that fill the classrooms and are the driving force and reason the school lives and breathes. I want to thank you all for a great 2014-15 school year.

Now settle back in a few more days and embrace the summer vacation, enjoy it as you have worked hard and earned it that much needed down time.

Namaste
