Wingate book club to discuss 'The Scarlet Pimpernel'

The book club at Wingate Residences on the East Side will discuss ‘The Scarlet Pimpernel’ on Monday, June 27 at 2 p.m. This classic novel of romance and intrigue details the pursuit of a man whose exploits embarrass the rulers during the French Revolution.

The Wingate book club launched eight years ago and remains one of the community’s most popular programs; since its inception, the club has read more than 90 books. Book club meets the fourth Monday of each month and is free and open to the public. Space is limited. For more information or to RSVP, please call 401-275-0682.
