70-Year-Old Pedestrian Flown To Hospital After Hit By Car: Hopkinton Police
The man was crossing the street when he was hit, police said.
HOPKINTON, RI — A 70-year-old was flown by LifeStar to the hospital after he was hit by a car crossing a Hopkinton street, police said.
The man was crossing Main Street near Spring Street in Hope Valley shortly before noon Sunday when he was hit by the car, the Hopkinton Police Department said in a media release.
The 33-year-old woman who was driving "remained on scene and was fully cooperative," the release said.

The man was flown by LifeStar to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, according to the release.
The matter remains under investigation.
