CT Man Wanted On Property Injury Charge Nabbed In Hopkinton: Cops

The Groton man was arrested during a traffic stop, police said.

HOPKINTON, RI — A Connecticut man wanted on a charge of malicious injury to property was captured during a traffic stop in Hopkinton, police said.

David Casell, 73, was arrested on a warrant when he was pulled over shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday on Ashaway Road, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Cassell, a resident of Groton, was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and turned over to the Hopkinton Police Department, according to the release.
