• Hope Valley State Police Barracks set to move after nearly a century (thewesterlysun.com) — State Police operations that cover Hopkinton will soon shift from the historic Hope Valley Barracks to a new $41.3 million Southern Public Safety Complex in West Greenwich, but troopers say their responsibilities and presence in Hopkinton won't change. The modern facility will centralize southern Rhode Island operations, improving communications, evidence processing, and response along I-95 while retiring the nearly century‑old barracks building.
