Road Work: The Rhode Island DOT issued a road construction warning for Atwood Avenue at Luther Street (just down the road from ) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. Crews will be doing some paving after some recent utility work. Expect delays.

Cooler: Sunny with highs "only" in the mid-70s, according to the JohnstonPatch WeatherBug forecast. Overnight lows in the 40s, with daytime temps falling into the upper 50s over the next few days. Chance of rain Saturday night into Sunday.
