Hoopsters: Both of the Johnston High School varsity basketball teams are scheduled to play today — the girls tip-off at Hope High School at 4:30 p.m., while the boys travel to Woonsocket to face Mt. St. Charles at 7 p.m.

Final Night: Tonight at the Johnston Senior Center, the Johnston Police Explorers Post #405 — — are set to host a wrapping party for the donations they've collected over the past week. The group is still seeking unwrapped toys and gift cards, so swing by around 5 p.m.
