Beat The Heat: You've no doubt heard the news — there's an in effect for this afternoon and tomorrow. Worst times are expected to be noon to 8 p.m. The serves as one of the town's cooling centers and will be open extra hours, until 7 p.m. through July 23.
Check Out The Library: The town's other designated cooling center is the Marian J. Mohr Library, open until 8 p.m. As it happens, the library is also hosting "cool" activities like story time for kids entering first grade and older at 10:30 a.m. and Lego Club for ages 6 to 12 at 5 p.m.
