Wanted Woman Apprehended After Johnston Crash: Cops

JOHNSTON, RI — A wanted woman was arrested after a crash in Johnston, police said.

Sobeydi Severino, 36, was arrested shortly before 12:30 a.m. Thursday on a warrant charging her with simple assault and disorderly conduct, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release

Severino's arrest was the "result" of troopers "responding to a motor vehicle accident" on Interstate 295, according to the release.

"The Johnston Police Department arrived on scene and took custody" of Severino, the release said.
