At Tuesday's School Committee meeting, contractor Zum outlined proposed schedule and routing changes, while parents questioned its reliability and urged the district to consider switching back to the previous bus company and hiring more monitors.
   

• 38th Annual Apple Fest brings classics, adds flavor (johnstonsunrise.net) — Johnston's beloved Apple Festival and Artisan Market returns Sept. 19–20 at Johnston Memorial Park, bringing more than 100 vendors, food trucks, and performances.
