Car into Johnston Building on Tuesday
A car crashed into a building at 10 Commerce Way. Police said they may charge with driver with a violation.
JOHNSTON, RI—A car crashed into a building at 10 Commerce Way on Monday. No one was injured in the mishap, according to police Major Joseph P. Razza. Police have not yet charged the driver.
"The operator and her passenger were not injured as a result of the accident," he said. "The operator advised that she mistakenly hit the accelerator instead of the brake when parking her vehicle. Moderate damage was sustained to the building and her vehicle. We are looking at possibly charging her with violation(s) of RI Motor Vehicle Code."
