Giovina "Angie" Racano

RACANO, GIOVINA "Angie", 104 formerly of Providence died January 2, 2012 at , Johnston. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Racano.

Born in Chieti, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Giulia (Albanese) Longhi. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Turchetti and her husband Kenneth of Johnston, RI; four grandchildren, Lisa Daniels of Orlando, FL, Julie West of Sacramento, CA., Debra Ramm of Warwick, RI and Kenneth J. Turchetti of North Scituate, RI; and her son-in-law, Albert Calise of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Jason Daniels, Sophia Turchetti, Noah Ramm, and Payton West, and one great-great-grandchild, Dominic Daniels.

She was the mother of the late Loretta Calise and the grandmother of the late Tremaine Daniels. She was also the sister of the late Germanio Longhi, Lena Maiorano, and Linda Longhi.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from Woodlawn Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
