Meditation is an ancient art of holding a relaxed focus on one particular area of attention. This helps to clear the mind and empowers one to experience a sense of peace and well being.
Heidi Gabrilowitz will facilitate three different meditative exercises to allow the exploration of different styles of meditation. A breathing exercise will lead into a guided meditation. The addition of a gentle drumbeat will encourage a deepening into the alpha state, which will be complemented by a simple breath meditation. You will be seated comfortably, either on the floor with cushions and bolsters, or in a chair. You will be guided verbally through a healing visualization process. Please bring a journal or notebook and pen to record your experiences.
No prior experience necessary. All are welcome.
