Johnston Man Lived with Dead Wife for Days, Police Say
The man suffered from dementia, according to WJAR-TV.
Police said a Johnston man suffering from dementia lived with the body of his wife in their home for several days.
Police said the woman, 67, and a dead dog were found in the basement of a home at the corner of Birchtree Drive and Cherry Hill Road, according to WJAR-TV.
The woman's death was not considered suspicious, WJAR reported. The man is reportedly 71 years old.
