Woman Killed & Father Stabbed in Domestic Violence Case: Johnston Police Investigating
A woman died of gunshot wounds and her father was stabbed, according to news sources.
JOHNSTON, RI—Police and rescue this afternoon responded to 75 Bishop Hill Road for a report of a woman suffering from gunshot wounds and a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

According to news sources, Jessica Sutherland died of a gunshot wound. Her father, Robert, is in police custody. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with stab wounds.
