Johnston Police: Thieves Stealing Rims & Tires
Police are asking residents to consider motion detector lights and be vigilant about their cars due to a rash of tire and rim thefts.
JOHNSTON, RI — Police are alerting residents about a spike in thefts of car tires and rims. Most of the cars impacted have been new model Hondas. Officers suggest parking in a well lit area or using motion detector lights to deter thieves.
