Last Chance: Baseball Season Is Upon Us

Hundreds of events pass through our calendar every week. It can be difficult to keep tabs on them all, and there's a chance you may miss something you wish you hadn't. Patch is here to help. Today, we roll out a new feature: Last Chance.  Each week, Johnston Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come. It's you last chance to make your plans.

This week, the winter weather seems to have broken and springtime is on the way. That means it's baseball time!

Johnston Little League has scheduled tryouts for this week , 10 Memorial Ave. Tryouts will be held today through Thursday at 6 p.m. on the following schedule:

March 19: 9 year olds

March 20: 10 year olds

March 21: 11 & 12 year old

March 22: 9-12 year olds
