Pisaturo told Ptlmn. Kevin Brady that he was at the restaurant cleaning up after hours and must have set the alarm off.

Brady thought it was suspicious that Pisaturo's car was parked in the back parking lot and checked his ID. Brady then walked back towards the main entrance when Pisaturo suddenly drove off at a high rate of speed.

Inside the restaurant, Brady discovered that a back window had been smashed and the ATM inside the restaurant was pried open, but no money appeared to have been taken.

Pisaturo was eventually tracked down to a house in Pawtucket and was taken into custody and brought back to Johnston police, who charged him with breaking and entering and other crimes.
