
What have you done for YOU lately? You're so good at making sure your family and friends feel nurtured, but are you treating yourself with the same level of kindness?
It's a new year. Are you ready for a new relationship with food? Are you willing to invest a few hours of time to up-level your own well-being, so that you will have more energy and enthusiasm to share with those you care about? Open to a new perspective, as Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist/Certified Diabetes Educator and Yoga Teacher Diane Pezza leads a journey of mindfulness in relation to the energy of food. In addition to a wealth of information, the afternoon will include gentle chair yoga, yogic breathing, and techniques for relaxation and stress reduction. What it will NOT include is a list of Do's and Dont's.
Through experiential exercises, guided meditation and mindful eating practice, learn how to:
- Listen to and trust your body's hunger signals
- Eat the foods you love, love the foods you eat
- Eat mindfully
- Respond effectively to emotional eating
