Obituary: Vilma A. Morro, 84

Vilma A. Morro, 84, bookkeeper for St. Rocco' Church, formerly of Anita Road, Johnston, passed away Saturday May 25, 2013 at the Scandinavian Home.

She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Morro. Born in Providence a daughter of the late Peter and Ann (Manzi) Ritchie.

Along with her husband Bill, Velma was actively involved in the St. Rocco's Church community for many years.

She is survived by her son Greg Morro; two daughters; Maribeth Moniz and Carolyn Mayer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one brother; Joseph Ritchie. She was the mother of the late John Morro and sister of the late Nancy Ricci.

Her funeral is Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco Church. VISITATION Wednesday morning 8 - 9:15 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Kindly omit flowers.
