Photo Gallery: Johnston Little League Opening Day

Teams played a couple of exhibition innings, and players competed in the Pitch, Hit and Run Contest as part of the official opening of the 2011 season.

On April 16, the Johnston Little League baseball teams celebrated their Opening Day with a parade starting st Johnston High school, then walking down Atwood Avenue to Hartford Avenue to Johnston Memorial Park.

Following the ceremonial to the 2011 season, teams matched up in two-inning exhibition games, and players took part in the Pitch, Hit and Run Contest.
