Photo Gallery: St. Rocco Midget Soccer

The Raptors co-ed midget  soccer team (2-4-1 on the season) played their last seasonal game on May 9 against St. Pius V School in Providence (1-4 record), at the St. Rocco field with many parents and friends cheering for them.

Head coach Eric O'Connor started the Raptors with warm up exercises and assigned Chace DiFanti to the goal keeper post.

In the first half, Matthew Levesque scored first for the Raptors and Irvin Padilla stepped up to the plate with back-to-back goals, giving the Raptors a 3-1 lead going in to the second half.

Joseph Vinagro took over in the net after DiFanti reeled off several good saves.

Padilla booted in another goal in the second half, and Gio DelNero added the finishing touch with a late goal to make the final score 5 -3.

As of press time, the team was awaiting word on whether they had secured a playoff berth.
