Planning Board Meeting — July 12

The town's advisory board for developments is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the senior center.

Final review of a plan to build a new powerplant at the Central Landfill is among the items on the agenda at tonight's scheduled Planning Board meeting, set to start at 7 p.m. at the .

The plant would capture methane emissions from the landfill and turn it into electricity.

On June 14, Broadrock Renewables, the company that owns an existing plant at the Landfill, presented a check for $100,000 to the local school committee.
