Police Investigate Wood Processor Crushing Scituate Man To Death
Police are investigating the death of a Scituate man who was killed when he was crushed by a wood processor.
SCITUATE, RI — Police are investigating the death of the owner of a Rhode Island landscaping company who was killed Saturday when he was crushed by a wood processing machine.
Scituate Police told the Associated Press Robert Burton, 36 tried hitching the machine, which cuts and splits firewood, onto his Jeep last Saturday. The machine fell on top of Burton, killing him.
The machine was not turned on when it fell. The incident occurred at Burton's home.

Burton owned the "Tree Guy" company. He leaves behind his wife Kimberly and two daughters.
A Go Fund Me was started to pay for funeral and future expenses for the Burton family.
