Salvatore A. "Sal" Comella, 81, of Lafazia Dr., Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Anne A. (Iannucci) Comella.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Mariano and Carmella (Peluso) Comella.
Mr. Comella was in the automobile business for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Marianne Arcuri and her companion, Thomas Jordan, of Johnston; Rosemarie DeAngelis and her companion, Kenneth Bowen, of Johnston; Evelyn Buckham and her husband, David, of Cranston; and Carmela Beaumier and her husband, Stephen, of Johnston; loving grandfather of Robert, Mario, Stephanie, Stephen, Felicia and Angelica; loving great-grandfather of Mario Jr. and Giuliana; loving father-in-law of Robert “Bobby” DeAngelis of Cranston; and dear uncle of 10 nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence at 10 am Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. Visiting Hours: Sunday from 4 to 8 pm.
