Appointment of an assistant principal at N.A. Ferri Middle School is among the items on tonight's agenda.
The Johnston School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at , starting with an executive session set for 6:30 p.m. The public portion of the meeting is expected to start at 7 p.m.
Among tonight's agenda items is the appointment of Steven Poricelli to assistant principal of Ferri Middle School, a position that Supt. Dr. Bernard DiLullo has sought to restore since a previous cut to the staffing there.

- First readings of the 2011-12 Johnston High School Student Handbook' the district's dress code; and the district's attendance policy.
