Senior Center To Hold Weekend Hours
The center will be open through Sept 5 to provide water and ice, and to allow residents without electricity to recharge their electronic devices.
Mayor Joseph M. Polisena announced on Sept. 1 that the is scheduled to be open this weekend, including Monday, Sept. 5, to help residents following Hurricane Irene last weekend.
In a press release, Polisena said the senior center's hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday to fill water containers, distribute ice, and allow residents without electricity in their homes to recharge their electronic devices.
