Whiz Kid: Jummy Olagundoye, Jam2Fit
This week, we recognize a senior at Johnston High School who's out to spread the word about health and fitness to her peers.
Name: Jummy Olagundoye, senior, J
Accomplishment: Starting Jam2Fit, an organization aimed at educating teens about proper health, exercise, and fitness.
Key To Awesomeness: Lots of motivation β and a compelling personal story. Jummy moved to America from her native country, Nigeria, when she was 11.

Upon arriving in America and seeing the fast food culture, Jummy went through a difficult time trying to navigate her way to healthy options β including battles with weight gain and loss, all while attending middle and high school.
Now, Jummy is seeking to bring the message of proper eating, physical fitness, and overall healthy lifestyles to young people her age. She's also putting together a summer program, to be held at , and applying for a Youth Ventures grant that could help get the foundation off the ground financially.
