She was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks before being taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions, highlighting ongoing law enforcement activity in and around town.

Wrong-Way Crash Probe Leads To Providence Man Arrest On DUI Charges: Cops (patch.com) β A wrong-way crash on Route 146 in Lincoln led state police to arrest a 67-year-old Providence man on DUI and reckless driving charges after a serious injury collision. He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a notice to appear in court.

Potential school bus strike put on hold amid negotiations (turnto10.com) β Families in Lincoln could face serious school transportation disruptions if First Student bus drivers move forward with a strike, though union leaders have temporarily delayed any walkout while talks continue. Negotiations between the company, Teamsters Local 251, and state officials are ongoing, with final contract offers expected soon and no firm agreement yet in place.

People Moves: Silva to Succeed Retiring Welch as Amica Chief Claims Officer (insurancejournal.com) β Amica Mutual Insurance, headquartered in Lincoln, is preparing for a leadership transition as longtime senior vice president and chief claims officer Sean Welch retires after 41 years. Acel Silva, who has held a range of claims and operations roles since 2003, will assume the chief claims officer position on December 1.
