North Providence Man Charged With Lincoln Carjacking And Robbery: Cops

The wanted North Providence man was apprehended during a traffic stop, police said.

LINCOLN, RI — A North Providence man wanted on charges of carjacking and robbery was apprehended during a traffic stop, police said.

Camrinn Johnson, 25, was pulled over and arrested shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 195 in Providence, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Johnson was also arrested on charges of conspiracy, vandalism and disorderly conduct, the release said.

Johnson was charged in connection with a Lincoln Police Department case, according to the release.

Johnson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and taken to the Lincoln Police Department, the release said.
