Ex-Boyfriend Accused of Withdrawing $200 from Her Bank Account

The victim said someone used the Automatic Teller Machine to withdraw money from her checking account.

MIDDLETOWN, RI—Police on Sunday picked up Jesse Brian Urban, 30, of Fall River, Mass., at the Providence Police Department. He was being held there on an arrest affidavit from Middletown P.D.

Urban's ex-girl friend went to police in August and made a complaint. She walked into the station at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 and said she kicked him out of her home because he was stealing from her. She alleged he used her debit card and withdrew $200 from her checking account at the Citizens Automatic Teller Machine on East Main Road.

She told police he is the only person who knew her debit number. She also said two other withdrawals had been made from the checking account; but since one occurred in Tiverton and the other happened in Fall River, the Middletown police said she would have to press charges in those municipalities.
