Middletown Man Hurt After Motorcycle Crash in Portsmouth
Police said the man was hurt when he hit a guardrail on Burma Road Friday night.

A Middletown man suffered serious injuries after striking a guardrail on Burma Road, also known as Defense Highway, in Portsmouth Friday night.
Fire officials said that the man crashed at around 9:45 p.m. on Friday and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
The man was not wearing a helmet and the accident is under investigation.

The crash occurred near the scene of a crash on Aug. 16 during which a 19-year-old Newport man was thrown from his ATV after hitting a guardrail. He was critically injured but survived.
