Providence Woman Charged Over Credit Card Purchase
Police say Angelique F. Perry, 36, used a credit card fraudulently to purchase an Apple Mac Book Pro from Flint Audio.

MIDDLETOWN, RI—State police on Feb. 26 arrested Angelique F. Perry, 36, of Providence at a traffic stop around 10 a.m. after they discovered she was wanted on a warrant from the Middletown police.
Perry is charged with using a credit card fraudulently at Flint Audio on Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. According to the arrest report in Middletown, she was accompanied by two other women when she presented a credit card to buy a $1,390.97 MacBook Pro. The clerk told police the card had no logo and three letters at the top. When the magnetic strip failed to work, the clerk typed the number in manually. That was successful, and Perry then presented her driver's license.
The next day around 3 p.m., Perry allegedly returned to the store to buy another MacBook Pro. But when the same clerk told her he would have to take her license and credit card "into the back room" and phone in the transaction, she allegedly grabbed the card back, said she had a headache and left.
