VIDEO: Abbey Rhode Bridgefest Show Packs Record Crowd at Sweet Berry Farm

Sweet Berry Farm's weekly outdoor summer concert series, now in its third year, has been attracting steady crowds throughout the summer—but none have compared in size to Tuesday night's most recent crowd.

Farm owner Jan Eckhart attributed the record turnout in part to the popularity and steady following behind the Portsmouth-based Beatles review band Abbey Rhode, as well as the marketing behind this week's music series spanning Aquidneck Island venues.

Aug. 9: Back Eddy Bluegrass

Too Comfortable: Chicken noodle soup, meat loaf, shepherd’s pie, green bean casserole, key lime tart.

Aug. 16: Wellstrung
Acoustic/Folk Rock/Psychedelic

Breakfast All Day: Fresh fruit cup, sausage & ham frittata OR vegetable frittata, French toast, white & sweet potato hash, doughnut, coffee cabinet.

Aug. 23: The Lois Vaughan Quartet

New England Coast Dinner: New England clam chowder, clam cakes, baked scrod, stuffed tomatoes, fresh-roasted potatoes, peaches & cream pound cake.

Aug. 30: Big Cat Blues
5:30–7:30pm
Almost Autumn: Edamame & black bean salad, roast pork with apples, brown rice pilaf, end-of-summer slaw, apple crisp.
