2 RI Summer Camp Beaches Closed Again, 1 Reopened

Kingston Camp and Camp Hoffman, both on Larkin Pond, were again closed for high bacteria counts.

KINGSTON, RI — Two summer camp beaches on Kingston's Larkin Pond are once again closed to swimming due to high bacteria levels. The waterfront at Camp Canonicus in Exeter, meanwhile, is back open.

The Rhode Island Department of Health recommended closing the waterfronts at Kingston Camp and Camp Hoffman, both on Larkin Pond, due to high bacteria in the water.
