Southgansett Girl Scouts came together, on Saturday, to celebrate World Thinking Day. Each troop was asked to find a country of interest and research it. The scouts put together information on that country, to include pictures of landmarks, foods that are native to that country, games children play and crafts, as well.
World Thinking Day is an opportunity to learn about the global sisterhood of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides. It is also the chance to reach out and make a change.
This year's theme is "Connect". How we connect with ourselves, our friends, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, and the world.
