2019 Wakefield RiverFire Schedule Announced
South County's very own WaterFire is returning for the 2019 summer season.
WAKEFIELD, RI — South County's version of Providence's WaterFire is returning for the 2019 summer season. RiverFire kicked off in downtown Wakefield on June 20 and will be held every Thursday throughout the summer from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
RiverFire is held on the Saugatucket River just off of Main Street in Wakefield. Attendees are encouraged to visit local shops and restaurants and bring a canned or nonperishable food donation for the Johnnycake Center of Peace Dale. Live music will be performed at a nearby outdoor restaurant from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
