5 Things: Valentine's Day,

1. Find those dancing shoes and join us for a Valentine's Dance & Concert at The Center, 25 Saint Dominic Road, South Kingstown. The ROMPS will be performing your favorite songs.  Wear your favorite red outfit to celebrate Valentine's Day and join the fun.

2. Experience a heart opening yoga class today at The Jamestown Art Center, 18 Valley St., Jamestown from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m., and bring your valentine for FREE. Spouses, partners, significant others, friends, parents, siblings....Bring any one that is dear to your heart and with whom you'd like to share the gift of yoga. Or just come and enjoy a nourishing yoga practice for yourself. We'll move a through an all levels Vinyasa Flow practice followed by a guided relaxation as we appreciate the love in our lives!

Class drop in fee costs $15
Please bring a yoga mat and any props you need.

3. It's a busy day in government today in South Kingstown:

• The School Committee will meet tonight 7 p.m. at the South Kingstown High School, 215 Columbia St. The committee will discuss the placement of the pre-school now located in the Hazard building. The commitee will consider reconfiguration as well as relocating to South Road School. It will also review reading, writing, and math results from the Fall 2011 New England Common Assessment Program tests. For the full agenda, click here.
